For Google Docs and common text formats it reads content while answering; results always come from a search made with your own access. It never edits or moves files.
Can teammates find my private files through Binee?
No. Every search runs with the asker's own Drive access. If you cannot open it in Drive, Binee cannot surface it to you, and the same holds for everyone else.
